11:00am Sunday - Traditional Worship Service
If you enjoy the traditional feel of worship join us as we glorify our Lord in the traditional Methodist way. Our Chancel Choir leads us in beautiful music using the hymns you grew up with.
During the service we have Children's Moment. Children ages 4 - 2nd grade are invited to come down front and participate in a short lesson and then go to Children's Church where they will further explore that lesson for the remainder of the worship time.
New Hope Sunday School Hour
Our Sunday School hour begins at 10:00am. We offer a variety of class for all ages. Small groups have always been the place to grow deeper in relationship with God. Jesus and the twelve disciples made up the first Sunday School class. In Luke 24, it was in the context of sharing about the scriptures and eating together with Jesus that the disciples' eyes were opened to the fulfillment of God's grace in the world and in their own lives. In the same way, 2000+ years later, the tradition of 'Sunday School' continues as an opportunity to share and grow in Gods' grace through the study of scriptures, discussion, and making friends in faith.
Children:
Nursery is provided for children during the worship services and Sunday School hour. We offer an Preschool class for ages 3 - Pre-K, Early Elementary class for Kindergarten, Middle Elementary class for grades 1 & 2, and an Older Elementary class for grades 3 thru 5.
Youth:
Our Youth Sunday School class is for grades 6 thru 12. We invite you to come share in our lesson and get to know Christ.
Adults:
♦Cross Trainers Class - All ages are welcome! This class participates in an in-depth study of the Bible and topics specific to our lives to gain a deeper understanding of God's word for us and it's application to our daily lives.
♦Beginnings Class- All ages welcome! This class studies a curriculum designed to focus on Christian heritage and beliefs. Anyone seeking a closer walk with God and wanting a fresh look at our faith will find this class beneficial.
♦Lorene Glover Class - Primarily attended by Senior Adults, yet they invite all ages to join them! A scripture based study, they use the Cokesbury curriculum adult bible studies as their guide. |
