The Power of Prayer

The power of prayer should not be underestimated. James 5:15-18 declares, ..."The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." God listens to prayer, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers. Prayer is God's way of talking to us. the words pray and prayer are used 25 times in connection with our Lord in the four gospels. Prayer took much of Jesus' time and strength. Prayer is the means that God has established for us to receive his mercy and to obtain his grace to help us in our time of need.

There is no set formula for prayer. It is an open conversation between you and God. Start each morning by asking God to use you. If you are in constant communication with God your life will be richly blessed.
